First Time, First Place: My Debut at Buttonwillow Circuit
There's something special about racing a track for the first time — the unknowns, the challenge, the thrill of discovery. That's exactly what Buttonwillow Circuit delivered this past weekend. As Rounds 5 and 6 of the Xtreme Spec Racing series kicked off, I was stepping into unfamiliar territory, but I was ready to make it count.
Round 5: Making a Statement
Saturday's race was my first competitive session at Buttonwillow, and I knew I had to learn fast. With only eight cars in the field, every position mattered. I spent practice dialing in my lines and figuring out where I could push the limits. When the green flag dropped, I was locked in.
The race was tight, with close battles throughout the field. I focused on staying smooth, hitting my marks, and keeping the car in its optimal window. The Rush SR #95 felt incredible — balanced, responsive, and fast. I managed to take the lead early and never looked back. Crossing the line in first place on my debut at this track was a huge moment.
Controlled the race from the front and secured the win in my Buttonwillow debut.
Round 6: Pressure and Precision
Sunday's race brought more intensity. With everyone now familiar with the track, the pace picked up. Early in the race, a competitor crashed which helped secure the win.
But I knew I had to be precise. I kept my cool, managed the tires, and picked my moments carefully. The car was hooked up, and I was able to build a gap and maintain it. Another clean race, another win — two for two at a track I'd never raced before.
Maintained composure and precision to secure back-to-back victories.

The Takeaway
Buttonwillow was a new challenge, and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Two wins in two races, a clean weekend, and a ton of confidence gained. Racing on a new track is never easy, but it's one of the most rewarding experiences in motorsport. You learn fast, adapt quickly, and prove to yourself what you're capable of.
This weekend was a turning point — not just in terms of results, but in how I approach new challenges. I'm proud of the performance, grateful for the support from my team, and excited to carry this momentum into the next round.
Thanks to everyone who continues to support me on this journey. The Xtreme Spec Racing season is heating up, and I'm ready for whatever comes next. 🏁
