Victory, Redemption, and Speed: My Race Weekend at Thunder Hill
Another race weekend in the books, and what a weekend it was. Thunder Hill Raceway Park brought the heat—literally and figuratively—and I left with a win, a second-place finish, and some valuable lessons learned.
Round 7: Starting from Pole
Saturday's qualifying session couldn't have gone better. I secured pole position with a clean, fast lap that put me at the front of the grid. When the green flag dropped for Round 7, I had one goal: control the race from start to finish.
The start was crucial, and I nailed it. Maintaining the lead through Turn 1, I quickly established a rhythm and built a comfortable gap. The car felt phenomenal—responsive, balanced, and fast. Every lap was about consistency and managing the tires as the track temperature climbed.
By the checkered flag, I crossed the line in first place, taking home another victory. It was a textbook race—clean, strategic, and dominant. But as any racer knows, the work doesn't stop after one good result.

Round 8: Fighting Back from P13
Sunday's qualifying race didn't go according to plan. A combination of traffic and an unfortunate contact left me starting Round 8 from 13th on the grid. It was frustrating, but I knew I had the pace—I just needed to prove it.
The race start was intense. I had to be aggressive but smart, threading the needle through the pack without making contact. Lap by lap, I worked my way forward, picking off competitors with clean overtakes. The car was on rails, and I could feel the confidence building with every position gained.
By the halfway point, I was in the top five. By the final laps, I was fighting for the podium. When the checkered flag waved, I crossed the line in second place—a hard-fought recovery drive that felt just as rewarding as the win the day before.

This weekend reminded me why I love racing. It's not just about starting from the front and cruising to victory—though that's certainly satisfying. It's about adapting, fighting back, and never giving up, even when things don't go your way.
Thunder Hill tested every aspect of my driving: racecraft, consistency, aggression, and patience. I came away with two podium finishes, more championship points, and renewed confidence heading into the next round.
